Aloy

Cryo Bow

Theoretized as one of the five descenders of Teyvat, Aloy comes from another world. She's a result of miHoYo's collab with PlayStation, and she originiated from the world of Horizon. However, while she's the powerful protagonist of the popular franchise, she fails to bring her glory to Teyvat. Aloy's kit is considered incomplete and clunky, a disappointment for her 5-star rating. Fans can only hope that one day, she'll get the Constellations she needs to finally be viable. But alas, an outsider may not have a star in Teyvat to begin with.

Gameplay Difficulty

Aloy has a mixed kit of DPS and sub-DPS. After throwing her Freeze Bomb, it needs to detonate four times to grant Aloy the Rushing Ice state. The Rushing Ice state converts Aloy's Normal Attack to Cryo.

While it sounds simple on paper, her Freeze Bombs are actually rather clunky. It's not easy to make four of them detonates, unless players use the assistance of Anemo units like Sucrose. Additionally, all the hassles required to trigger the Rushing Ice state is not worth it as Aloy's DMG is not that high. Meanwhile as a sub-DPS, Aloy's DMG will also prove to be underwhelming, making other supports like Diona and Layla a better investment.

Team Composition Flexibility

Aloy currently has no place within the Genshin Impact meta.
