Gorou is a support for Geo characters that scales with DEF, like Itto, Noelle, or Albedo. Not only does he grants DEF boost, but Gorou can also enhance Geo Crit DMG, similar to Kujou Sara and Faruzan for Electro and Anemo.

Gorou's DEF buff solely depends on his talent, and is not affected by his own stat. This means players don't have to build Gorou with anything. As long as he can maintain his Elemental Burst, he'll be able to perform.

Team Composition Flexibility

Gorou is niche for defensive Geo characters.

 

Role Flexibility

Other than buffer, Gorou can also be a minor healer with Constellations.
