The Traveler of Genshin Impact has an adaptive Element where they can freely switch their ability by touching a certain region’s Statue of the Seven. As of Sumeru’s release, however, only the Dendro Traveler ever got popular among the community. This is both because there was a lack of Dendro upon its release and because the Dendro MC’s ability is decently useful.

When it comes to Geo Traveler, they mostly offer damage with some minor utility. The damage dealt by Geo MC is actually not bad, but what drives people off from using them is the fact that their Geo Construct can be really annoying in battle.

Geo Traveler Build – Best Weapon

Basically, the weapons for Geo Traveler build in Genshin Impact revolve around those with offensive stats like Crit and ATK. Energy Recharge is also decent to an extent, but not really necessary, considering they can battery themselves just fine. One exception is the Favonius Sword as the weapon is supportive for the entire team.

Primordial Jade Cutter: Geo MC packs some real DMG behind their clunky Geo mechanics. So, maximizing that potential is the wise move here.
Mistsplitter Reforged: Mistsplitter and Primordial basically perform the same with one heavily focusing on Crit Rate while the other has an ok Crit DMG Substat. If players had both, then, choose the one that improves the lacking stats in Geo Traveler’s build.
Haran Geppaku Futsu: It’s a mere stat-stick for the Geo MC since other than the sub-stat and 12% Elemental DMG increase, the weapon doesn’t offer anything else to the Traveler.
Summit Shaper: As a quick swap sub-DPS unit in Genshin Impact, Geo Traveler doesn’t benefit from Summit’s great ATK% buff. However, the base stats the weapon can offer are more than enough for the MC to enjoy a decent DMG when on-field.
Aquila Favonia: Close to Summit Shaper; Aquila Favonia offers Physical DPS buffs which can’t be used by the Traveler since their main DMG source is their Skill and Burst, which deals Geo DMG.
Lion’s Roar: It’s a good 4-star weapon, especially if the Traveler is matching up with Pyro or Electro users in Genshin Impact.
Skyward Blade: Decent Base ATK with a massive amount of ER, which is what the Traveler needs to keep casting their Elemental Bursts more often.
The Black Sword: Geo Traveler doesn’t get anything from that sword but its 27% Crit Rate.
Amenoma Kageuchi: This weapon makes it extremely easy for Geo Traveler to keep unleashing their Bursts. Given the Geo MC’s low CD on their Skill, they can fulfill Amenoma Kageuchi’s passive requirement in no time.
Blackcliff Longsword: Just like the Black Sword, Blackliff is just on this list for its Crit DMG Substat.
The Alley Flash: Since Geo Traveler is a quick swap DPS, it’s easy for them to cast all their Skills and Bursts without getting hit, maintaining the no-hit requirement of Alley Flash. Other than that, the weapon is pretty meh.
Favonius Sword: Since it’s already a clunky build, why not give it an extra Energy regeneration for the team?
Sacrificial Sword: Since Geo Traveler annoys everyone with their Elemental Skill, why not cast it more often then? In all seriousness, Sacrificial Sword makes Geo Traveler a very reliable Geo battery in Genshin Impact.

There aren’t many artifact options for Geo Traveler build in Genshin Impact.

2-Noblesse Oblige + 2-Archaic Petra: The best generalist option for Geo Traveler damage.
2-Archaic Petra + 2-ATK +18%: Players can also swap one of the two for Noblesse Oblige.
4-Noblesse Oblige: A supportive artifact set that’s great for most team comps in Genshin Impact.

Geo Traveler Talent Priority In Genshin Impact

As a sub-DPS, Geo Traveler talent priority in Genshin Impact is Elemental Skill = Elemental Burst. The two are equally important, and although Geo MC has a feature on their Normal Attack, it’s best to not ever use them as a main DPS.
