Skyward Atlas: A universal Catalyst, perfect for both DPS and sub-DPS Ningguang.
Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds: Can outperform Skyward with Bennett, but its passive is not suitable for sub-DPS.
Kagura’s Verity: Players can decently stack the passive if they have Ningguang’s C2.
Memory of Dust: Great with a shielder like Zhongli, but performs far lower than other 5-star options if there’s Bennett.
Solar Pearl: Battle Pass weapon that increases Crit Rate. Sub-DPS Ningguang should use Normal Attack before Skill and Burst.
The Widsith: Elemental Mastery buff is useless for Ningguang, so Widsith’s performance is somewhat dependent on luck. Nevertheless, the Crit DMG sub-stat is amazing.
Eye of Perception: Not recommended to level up this weapon specifically for Ningguang as it has low compatibility with other Catalyst users.
Dodoco Tales: F2P weapon that boosts ATK and Charged Attack, great for DPS Ningguang.

As of version 3.6, there’s no artifact set specifically made for Ningguang build in Genshin Impact. Therefore, players should settle with either of these:

2-Archaic Petra + 2-ATK +18%: Its performance is close to options #2 and #3, so players should choose whichever has the better sub-stat. The ol’ reliable try-and-see-the-damage or damage calculator are great to see which combination works best.
2-Archaic Petra + 2-Noblesse Oblige: Increases Burst DMG, so may be the best for sub-DPS Ningguang.
2-ATK +18% + 2-ATK +18%: The easiest combo to obtain and potentially has the best sub-stat.
Desert Pavilion Chronicle: Don’t farm specifically for Ningguang; viable for the main DPS role.

Ningguang Talent Priority In Genshin Impact

As a main DPS, Normal Attack is important to level, but still not as crucial as her ultimate. Therefore, Ningguang talent priority in Genshin Impact is Elemental Burst > Normal Attack > Elemental Skill. Leveling up Elemental Skill is solely for damage purposes, but considering it deals decent numbers, it’s not a bad idea to upgrade it, especially if Ningguang is at C2.

For sub-DPS Ningguang, players can ignore Normal Attack before C6, but Normal Attack must be upgraded at C6. C6 Ningguang automatically creates seven Star Jades after she casts her Burst. Unleashing Ningguang’s Charged Attack will significantly increase Ningguang’s DPS, which means it’s important to level up the talent it scales with.
