Sucrose is one of the most accessible characters to build in Genshin Impact. Not only that, but she’s also an incredible Support in the game. Sucrose can control enemies, reduce their resistance to the Swirled Element, and significantly buff her team’s performance.

For her to become that good of a Support in Genshin Impact, players must build Sucrose correctly. To do that, remember to maximize her EM always since that’s how to increase her EM buff and spoil her with Viridescent Venerer, just like how a typical Anemo character gets spoiled.

Sucrose Build – Best Weapon

To build Sucrose in Genshin Impact, maximizing her Elemental Mastery is a requirement. That will increase her Swirl DMG while she shares a big chunk of EM with her team. So, finding the Catalyst to do that is necessary.

A Thousand Floating Dreams: Unsurprisingly, Nahida’s signature Catalyst grants the biggest amount of Elemental Mastery. Not only from the Sub-stat, but Sucrose can also get a small amount of EM if she had another Anemo user in her party.
Sacrificial Fragments: One of the best weapons for Sucrose in Genshin Impact. In addition to the high EM granted from its Sub-stat, Sacrificial Fragments also allow Sucrose to Skill more, which means more frequent Burst usage.
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers: While Thrilling Tales doesn’t grant Sucrose EM or any DMG buff, it does allow her to give the next character taking the field a whopping 48% extra ATK. Sacrificial Fragments is a better option in general, but this weapon is perfect for a full buffer Sucrose.
Hakushin Ring: It’s a decent F2P weapon and players can easily R5 it. However, Sucrose can only use the Catalyst to Support Electro users in Genshin Impact.
Magic Guide: Only use Magic Guide on Sucrose if there’s no Sacrificial Fragments. It gives her a decent EM buff, but nothing other than that.
Favonius Codex: If players don’t have any of the above Catalysts, Favonius Codex is good enough to help regenerate the team’s Bursts.

Sucrose Build – Best Artifact

As a straight Anemo Support in Genshin Impact, there aren’t many artifacts sets to build Sucrose. Maybe Noblesse Oblige is a little viable, but not as much as 4-Viridescent Venerer. Without VV, Sucrose doesn’t meet any of the expected Support she can grant her team. Other than 4-Viridescent Venerer, players can use Instructor or double +80 EM sets.

Sucrose Talent Priority In Genshin Impact

Since Sucrose’s Swirl damage primarily scales off her Elemental Mastery stat and level, Sucrose talent priority in Genshin Impact should be Character level > Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst. Since Swirl DMG doesn’t scale off talent level, Skill and Burst level can both be left at level 1, along with Normal Attack.
